DKP System

DKP System

Overview

DKP is awarded on a point basis. Generally, only 25-man content from Naxxramas onwards will award DKP if you attend a raid, down a boss, be on-time and/or perform exceptionally well in a raid. Tier 7, 8 and 9 items belong to different DKP groups, i.e. you can not use T7 DKP to get T8 items and vice versa. Also, minimum attendance required to attain loot is pegged at 40% in the last 30 days for that tier.

Current DKP system

- 2 DKP per hour
- 6 DKP per hour for progression raids
- 2 DKP per boss down
- 1 DKP for being on time
- 6 DKP for first kill

Raid Signups

Raids will be posted every weekend for the coming week. Please use the guild website Calendar and sign up to indicate your availability. ALL Peasants, Raiders and Officers are to signup, even if you are not available for that raid. In the event that you are unavailable, kindly make a note to indicate so. If you signed up as being available initially, but later find that you are unable to make it for the raid, you can update your status on the Calendar by unchecking the availability option. If you will be away for an extended period of time (more than 1 week), you should make a post in the Guild Members Association to notify the GM/Officers.

If you cant get to the website to alter your signup for a particular raid, send an email to nullisecundus.eu@gmail.com. An officer will pick it up and adjust the calendar for you.

In the event that you do not sign up for the raid, yet show up to attend, you will not accrue the DKP for raid attendance.

The cut-off time to sign up for raids is 12 noon on the day of that raid. The onus is on the raider him/herself to check and verify that he/she has signed up for the raid before the cut-off time.

Awarding of bonus DKP

It is at the Raid Leader's discretion to award additional DKP to a raid which has done exceptionally well (e.g. fast clearing of trash mobs, all bosses 1-shotted). This is an incentive to spur raiders to perform at high standards consistently instead of wasting time wiping.

End instance Boss Bonus DKP will also be awarded for downing end bosses for the first time. This DKP will be awarded to the next level's DKP Group, i.e. when we down Kel'thuzad in Naxxramas, bonus DKP will be award to each person in the raid in the DKP group up.

Penalties

It is at the Raid Leaders discretion to deduct points from a raider that is seen being intentionally disruptive to the raid and/or causing wipes on bosses on farm.

If you signed up as being available for a raid, yet failed to show up on that day itself, without informing anyone (Officer or GM) that you are not able to make it, 60 DKP will be deducted.

If you did not even bother to sign up, available or otherwise, 60 DKP will be deducted.

We require all raiders (regardless of rank, race, or class) to use their consumables (flasks/elixirs, buff food, weapon buffs) for all raids. This is to boost our chances for successful raids, and as such, if the final check from the Big Brother mod shows that you have not taken the consumables, you will receive a 30 DKP Penalty. Additionally you will not receive DKP for that boss, as well as forfeit the chance at receiving loot from that particular boss.

Items

Items from the Tier 7 instances will cost 30DKP per item. If a main spec does not want an item, it can be passed to another raider as an offspec item which is DKP free. Should more then one main requires it, it will go to the person with the highest roll.

If an item drops that you want, roll for the item. If more then one person rolls, it will be given to the raider that has the highest DKP. Class items and patterns are free of DKP and are given to the raider that rolls the highest.

Bind on Equip items are offered to raided in the same way as normal items. If no body present in the raid wants the item it will go into the guild bank for a period of seven days. Raiders may purchase the item using dkp for their main spec only. Should a raider wish to purchase an item for offspec or for an alt they can purchase it for 50% of the Auction House price. After seven days if the item isnt bought it will be sold and the project paid into the guild bank.

Bonus Items
Bonus items, such as mounts from Hard Mode bosses will be handed out according to highest roll and only Raider rank and above are allowed to roll. However, if a raider dies on that boss attempt (and it is judged to be your fault) they will not be allowed to roll. A death diminishes the chances of getting a successful kill and as such will not be rewarded with a rare drop or mount.

Legendary Items
Legendary items will be handed out by the Guild Master and not by DKP, taking into account a number of factors such as activeness, performance during raids and contribution to the guilds progression. The Guild Master's decision is final.

Stand-By DKP

Often members may be asked to sit out for raids due to rotation. Raid composition is very important for progression and sometimes having more of one class may make learning an encounter much easier. When asked to sit out even though you have signed up for the current raid, you will be awarded the same amount of points as raiders in the instance.

Being on Stand-By

We use the Headcount addon to run a waitlist system during the raid. If you are not on this waitlist YOU WILL NOT BE AWARDED STANDBY DKP.

The process is as follows;

After the raid is full the addon will announce in guild chat;

Quote:
[G] [80:Butterball:1]: [HeadCount] The raid wait list is now open for new members. Send the whisper, wl add, to be added to the wait list.

You MUST whisper "wl add" to me to get yourself added to the list.

The message will be periodically put into guild chat and people have 15 minutes to add themselves. At end of 15 minutes no further additions are allowed.

You dont have to remain online on your main. You can go play on an alt but you must be contactable.. i.e. still on vent in the AFK room.

Remember:It is YOUR responsibility to be online at raid start and add yourself to the list. If you fail to do this you will not get standby DKP, even though you might be online.

After sorting out who's on stand-by, raiders are allowed to go on their alts or to PUG some instances*. If you chose to log off WoW, be contactable for subbing at all times. Generally, MSN is the cheapest form of communication or by staying on vent. If you are un-contactable when you are required to substitute a certain raider, stand-by DKP will be voided (unless valid reasons are given).

*If you choose to PUG an instance, please let your group know in advance that you are on standby for a 25-man raid, and will need to leave immediately when called upon to sub in.

Miscellaneous

  • Currently, loot priority is as follows on ALL raids: main's mainset > main's offset > alt's mainset > alt's offset, followed by trial members. Off-spec loot is 0 DKP but the gear should be enchanted in same manner as items for your main spec.

  • Alt-Raiders are essentially the same as a main raider and as such will be considered a main when following the loot priority above.

  • All raw gems looted/mined from 25-man content must be deposited in gbank or maybe handed over to the GM or an Officer to be gbanked.

  • All greens and blue drops from 25-man content are to be DE-ed and deposited into gbank or handed over to the GM or an Offier to be DE-ed and gbanked.

  • Sometimes it is inevitable that a raider has to raid with his/her alt so that the raid can carry on. However, the said member who's using his/her alt is sacrificing a lot because potential gear that he/she needs could be forsaken since he/she's on the wrong character. Hence, in order to cater to the nice people who are willing to sacrifice for the guild, every time someone is asked to play their alt to ensure raid progression, they will accrue 1 extra DKP per raid hour. NOTE: You DO NOT choose or claim to play your alt for the 25-man raid, it must be a GM or Officer request.

  • Trial Members are not allowed to loot for their first 3 raids. Loot will only be awarded when absolutely no one wants the item, although this is at the Guild Masters / Raid Leaders discretion. If the Trial Member shows a horrible performance through his/her 2-week run with us, loot WILL be sharded in front of his/her eyes. No point awarding crap with free epics.
