Guild Charter

Guild Charter

Nulli Secundus, is an alliance PvE raiding guild based on the European server Wildhammer. The guild was founded on 13th of July 2007 and we are a serious, yet fun guild who are 100% focused at our jobs.

Nulli Secundus means "Second to None" and this is what we strive for, meaning we have no place for hotshots. Everyone is treated as an equal, from a raider right up to the Guild Master.

Requirements

The following are a list of requirements for raiders:

  • You must be willing and available to raid at 20:00 - 23:00 server time for 3 hours. The guild schedules 25 man runs Sunday - Thursday and you should be willing to raid at least 2 nights a week.

  • Mature, open-minded, committed, patient people who know their class and are comfortable in a raiding situation.

  • You will be subject to advice from officers and leaders and so must be willing to take constructive criticism.

  • ALL epic quality gear gem sockets are gemmed up with epic gems.

  • ALL epic quality gear should be enchanted with proper enchants.

  • You will farm materials or purchase consumables needed in raids such as health pots / mana pots / flasks / food buffs

  • We accept people of all backgrounds who are 18 and over. Under 18's are not allowed and this rule is non negotiable.

Organisation

Leadership
Butterball is Guild Master with Fatbear as second in command. They are responsible for setting guild targets and objectives. The leaders are supported by Brink, Timerunner, Purist and Ashigore as officers. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please address them to the leadership.

Ranks
The ranks are organised as follows;

  • Guild Master: Leader of the Guild

  • Guild Captain: Co-Leader of the Guild

  • Officer: Guild officers

  • Guildbank Ninja: Enables withdrawal from the Guild Bank.

  • Raider: Active members of the guild that has passed the trial.

  • Peasant: New members who are under observation. Also demoted Raiders and Veterans that no longer raid.

  • Alt-Raider: An alt-raider is an alt of a raider that has geared himself up to such a standard that we could take this Alt to fill a raiding spot if required. Alt-Raiders are eligible for any loot that drops which will be paid for using the DKP of the main character.

  • Alt: Alts of raiders

  • Socialite: Friends of members who wish to remain in the guild in a social aspect only.

New Members and Recruitment

A. New Members
New members of Nulli Secundus who have not previously been raiding with us will be given Peasant rank as a trial period in the guild. This trial period will last until officers and guild leaders feel you are a good fit for the guild. A good fit includes both how you participate and contribute as a member of the guild (in forums, on sign-ups, in chat...) and how you play your class. We don't expect you to be perfect but we expect you to work at improving and be open to feedback.

Peasants must complete 3 DAYS of raiding with Nulli Secundus and accrue at least 15 DKP to be eligible for drops. Peasants can be eligible for items if the only other option is Disenchanting, but this entirely at the Guild Master or Read Leaders discretion. After you have met the minimum raid requirements your performance will be evaluated and it will be determined if you are to be promoted to Raider. Factors that will influence this decision are raid performance, reliability, raid attendance, personality & interaction with other raid members, ability to take advice, etc.

B. Open Recruitment
Our recruitment status will be reflected on the Recruitment Status Menu of the website. As slots are filled or positions become open we will update that information there. It is expected that people who apply for those positions are familiar with and enjoy playing that class spec.

Inactivity and Account Removal

As a member you are expected to play an active part of the guild. Below are the time frames for inactivity and guild removal. Inactive in this context means not signing and being available for raids.

  • Peasants who are inactive for 2 weeks will have their status changed to Socialite.

  • Raid Members who are inactive for 2 weeks will have their status changed to Peasant.

  • All Guild Members who are inactive for 60 days will be removed from the guild.

Any extenuating circumstances where you need to take an extended amount of time off will be dealt with on a case by case basis. In these situations you should make contact with an Officer or the Guild Master.

Sanctions

We are a guild that is designed for mature people and therefore do not want to have to police its members. This section is designed in the event someone breaks any of the Guild Policies. Any breach should be reported to the Guild Leaders or Officers.

  • Guild Leaders and Officers are responsible for deciding how to deal with Members who break the Guild Charter.

  • Breaches by Peasants will face a lower level of tolerance than those of full members. They may be removed without consultation if their actions make it clear that they do not fit into the guild atmosphere.

  • The Guild Leaders and Officers have the right to use their judgement regarding issues not covered in the Guild Charter.

Leaving the Guild

If you decide to leave Nulli Secundus then you wont be allowed to rejoin under any circumstances. This rule is non negotiable. The only except to this would be a social leaving and later reapplying to the guild as a full time raider.

Guild Policies

* Nulli Secundus is an honourable guild, you are expected to uphold the guilds image and do nothing which could potentially bring the guild into disrepute.

* You will treat all players with dignity and respect - Without fail our most important rule. If at any time it is discovered that you have committed any action that is deemed to have breached this rule, you will be investigated and potentially disciplined, up to and including dismissal from the guild.

* You will avoid any kind of language that others may find offensive. (To clarify, we are not saying you are not allowed to swear, however your conduct must be civil and any abuse directed at an individual will likely result in your being disciplined and potentially dismissed)

* All members are expected to be courteous and polite to each other. If any act of generosity is met with a "mememe" attitude, that person will be spoken to and will not be offered assistance of any kind until their attitude is deemed appropriate.

* You must adopt a helpful attitude toward others where possible. You are not expected to drop what you are doing but if another member needs help and you're not busy, please try to do so. You can also expect the same support from any of our members.

* Always sign the calendar regardless of whether or not you can actually make it so the leaders have full visibility on who can attend raids. Repeated failure to sign the calendar could lead to demotion and dismissal from the guild.

* Members are committed to a minimum to a raid attendance of 50% over a 30 day period. Failure to do this could lead to demotion and dismissal from the guild.

* Decisions made by the Leaders, or by the Officers are not subject to discussion. If you have a suggestion, or an objection to anything that happens in the guild, you should speak privately with an officer or the leaders as appropriate. You will be treated fairly, and can expect an honest response to concerns that you have.

* Nulli Secundus is an end game raiding guild. This means that ALL raiders will use Pots / Elxirs / Food Buffs. Repeated failure to do this will lead to loss of DKP and possible dismissal from the guild.

* Raiders will not be allowed to have alts in other guilds and raid with them. Anyone found doing this will be instantly dismissed from the guild.

* Use of the guild chat channel that in any way could be considered detrimental to the good of the guild will be viewed as an offence. You will be warned and should you repeat it, you will be set to a rank that is able to view, but not able to speak in guild chat for a period of 3 days. Such violations might be:

  • Openly challenging the leadership on guild chat

  • Bringing an "attitude problem" on to the channel

  • Anything offensive not deemed serious enough to warrant dismissal

Above all, take your position with Nulli seriously, and commit to doing your part. Have fun and help other people as you would like to be helped.
